About the role
As a Technical Engineer , you’ll be the go-to expert for setting up and maintaining our LED screens in AV systems. This post-sales role involves hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and customer interaction—so if you love AV tech and working with people, this job is for you!
Your main responsibilities include ensuring our LED solutions work flawlessly and meet each client’s needs and budget. You will serve as the bridge between INFiLED’s technology and our customers, helping them maximize our cutting-edge displays.
You will work across various settings, including corporate offices, entertainment venues, schools, and government buildings, ensuring seamless operation wherever our screens are used.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical expert, providing remote and on-site support to INFiLED customers across the UK.
- Install, repair, and troubleshoot INFiLED’s LED screens.
- Train partners and end-users to maximize product benefits.
- Perform proactive site visits, analyze performance, and recommend improvements.
- Gather customer and partner feedback for our product and R&D teams.
- Maintain detailed records of actions and solutions.
- Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Set up and operate AV equipment for live events, meetings, and broadcasts.
- Collaborate with lighting engineers, IT teams, and other technical staff for system integration.
- Provide hands-on support during events, including microphone setup and video playback.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of AV equipment, including LED screens, audio mixers, video projectors, displays, video conferencing tools, and control systems.
- Ability to design and recommend AV solutions tailored to client needs and technical specifications.
- Understanding of networking and IT system integration.
- Excellent communication skills to present solutions clearly and engage with clients.
- Capability to identify customer pain points and develop practical AV solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving issues pre- and post-sale.
- Ability to manage multiple projects from initial pitch to final delivery.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a technical customer service or sales environment.
- Good knowledge of hardware, software, and LED technologies.
- Exceptional client service orientation.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the UK and abroad.
