As Group Tax Reporting Manager, you will be part of the Global Tax Team, reporting to the Senior Group Tax Reporting & Compliance Manager. Your role involves supporting all aspects of tax reporting and compliance, and assisting the broader Group Tax function with areas such as tax risk, governance, international and UK tax advice, and special projects.
Key duties include:
- Assist with the production of interim and annual Group consolidated tax charges and related disclosures in the Group Annual Report & Accounts, reviewing submissions and consolidating data.
- Manage and review the Group’s quarterly consolidated tax charge.
- Support the preparation of quarterly tax charges for Group Holding entities.
- Assist with quarterly regulatory reporting.
- Prepare and review quarterly tax forecasts.
- Assist with UK and international tax compliance tasks.
- Calculate quarterly UK Group payments on account.
- Review and maintain the UK tax group’s payment position to optimize interest.
- Collaborate with tax teams across the Group to foster a constructive working relationship and share best practices.
- Adhere to tax governance processes, aligning with the company\’s risk appetite.
- Support tax risk reporting and governance activities, including Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) responsibilities.
- Analyze data to manage tax risks and identify opportunities.
About you:
- ACA or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in tax reporting
- UK Corporate Tax training (Big 4 or top 10 firm)
- Advanced Excel skills for data interrogation and mapping
- Commercial experience is a plus but not essential
- Flexible working arrangements, open to full-time or part-time (4 days a week)
- Minimum one day per week in the London office
