We are looking for Systems Engineers to support the validation and verification of Command & Control sub-systems, ensuring these systems are ready for operational deployment. C2 systems act as the central intelligence within complex platforms, detecting evolving situations, planning coordinated responses, and managing dynamic operations in real time. This V&V focused role provides hands-on involvement in proving system performance, while also offering the chance to work across multiple areas of the business, gain end-to-end visibility of the development lifecycle, and play a key part in delivering impactful, real-world capability to end users.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage system-level validation and verification strategies throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Develop detailed test scenarios and success criteria to ensure the system meets performance and functional requirements.
  • Create and maintain verification plans, working closely with technical authorities to agree on appropriate verification methods.
  • Support system-level testing, data analysis, and documentation to demonstrate requirement compliance.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to align V&V activities with overall system architecture and integration plans.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the V&V function, including toolsets and processes.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of verification and validation methodologies in a systems context.
  • Familiarity with modelling and requirements management tools e.g. SysML, IBM Rhapsody, and DOORS (training available if needed).
