Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for a Systems Accountant / Project Manager for a leading professional services firm in Manchester, which has experienced significant growth over the past decade. The Systems Accountant will lead system development to ensure robust and value-adding systems that enhance data accuracy and support commercial decision-making. You will oversee ongoing projects across all systems and serve as a conduit between finance and IT.
The Role
- Ensure systems operate efficiently and effectively, supporting forecasting and financial reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement of systems and related reporting.
- Provide training to maximize system usage.
- Develop enhancements to add value continually.
- Implement a replacement financial system for Dimensions.
- Document, test, and update processes and procedures.
The ideal candidate has an accounting background with significant experience in delivering continuous improvement projects across finance and reporting systems, with the ability to lead projects and influence senior leadership teams. Applicants from a similar systems accountant role in a professional services organization with an accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) are preferred, though qualified individuals by experience will also be considered.
