Job Description:

The Talent Set is working with a health charity to recruit new roles within their growing fundraising team:

• Community Engagement Officer

These roles focus on delivering engaging experiences and building relationships with supporters. Responsibilities include stewarding donors and fundraisers, promoting campaigns, and enhancing supporter experiences.

Supporter Engagement Officer responsibilities:

• Engage and support supporters and fundraisers
• Manage thank yous and impact updates
• Develop the giving pipeline and support reporting and supporter journey planning
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments

Community Engagement Officer responsibilities:

• Be the first contact for community and third-party fundraisers
• Support campaigns like matched-funding and recurring giving
• Oversee Community Support Volunteers and distribute materials
• Promote campaigns across diverse audiences to grow income

Shared responsibilities:

• Provide excellent supporter care via various channels
• Maintain supporter data accurately
• Coordinate with marketing and communications
• Build supporter journeys to deepen engagement

Person Specification:

• Experience in supporter care, individual giving, or community fundraising
• Ability to use databases for supporter engagement
• Strong communication skills and relationship-building passion
• Collaborative and proactive approach
• Social media and campaign promotion experience is a plus
