Job Description:

The Talent Set is working with a health charity to recruit roles within their fundraising team:

• Community Engagement Officer

These roles involve delivering engaging supporter experiences, building long-term relationships, stewarding donors and fundraisers, promoting campaigns, and ensuring supporter engagement is thoughtful and timely.

About the Roles:

Supporter Engagement Officer:

• Engage and support supporters and fundraisers.
• Manage thank yous and impact updates.
• Support development of the individual giving pipeline and supporter journey planning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments.

Community Engagement Officer:

• Be the first contact for community and third-party fundraisers.
• Support campaigns like matched funding and recurring giving.
• Oversee volunteers and distribute fundraising materials.
• Promote community fundraising and grow income.

Shared Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent supporter care via various channels.
• Maintain supporter data accurately.
• Coordinate with marketing and communications.
• Create supporter journeys to deepen engagement.

Person Specification:

• Experience in supporter care, individual giving, or community fundraising.
• Proficiency with databases and supporter engagement tools.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative and proactive attitude.
• Social media and campaign promotion experience is a plus.
