Are you a procurement professional ready to take the lead? We’re looking for a Supply Chain Team Leader to join our expanding team and play a key role in driving operational excellence across procurement, planning, and stores. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll lead a high-performing team, manage supplier relationships, and ensure smooth, on-time delivery of materials that are critical to our production success. This hands-on role offers the perfect blend of leadership and strategic impact – ideal for someone ready to step up and take ownership.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead day-to-day procurement operations, supporting the wider supply chain team
- Take charge of supplier performance and orderbook accuracy
- Manage key suppliers across the full procurement lifecycle
- Monitor and report on procurement KPIs, resolving performance issues proactively
- Be the go-to for operational escalations within the procurement team
- Attend production meetings to align supply chain with manufacturing goals
- Coach and support your team to maximise efficiency and capability
- Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline and improve supply chain processes
- Step in to support the team during busy periods or holidays to ensure continuity
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain – ideally with team leadership exposure
- Strong supplier relationship and orderbook management skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems like IFS
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Confidently managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- CIPS qualification (or working towards) is a plus
- Ability to gain relevant security vetting clearance
