I’m working with a fantastic independent B2B events agency that’s looking to bring in a Strategist to support their Strategy Director. This is a varied and high-impact role, spanning client strategy, new business pitches, thought leadership, and agency marketing. It’s perfect for someone with a few years of B2B communications experience who’s looking to take the next step into a more strategic, idea-led position.
The agency is open-minded about background — you might currently be in an account management role with a strategic mindset, or already in a junior strategy role and ready to take on more. What’s essential is a passion for live experiences, strong writing skills, a collaborative nature, and the confidence to contribute to client work and internal thinking alike.
In this role, you’ll help shape the live experience strategies of some great B2B brands. You’ll be involved in pitch development, helping to craft and deliver compelling responses, as well as taking the lead on writing clear and engaging strategic documents. You’ll also contribute to the agency’s voice in the market through thought leadership content and play a key part in new business and marketing efforts.
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of experience in B2B communications, in an agency setting. Direct experience in events is a bonus but not essential — more important is your ability to think clearly, write well, and bring creative energy to the table. You should be comfortable working directly with clients, confident presenting ideas, and naturally curious about culture and how businesses connect.
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to grow with a smart and collaborative agency doing ambitious work in the B2B experience space.
