About the Role
We are working with a leading national training provider delivering IT & Digital apprenticeships, recruitment, and training. With over 20 years of experience, they specialise in bridging the digital skills gap and supporting thousands of learners each year. They are now looking for an experienced Software Development Technical Trainer to deliver Apprenticeships and Skills Bootcamps to learners beginning their careers as Software Developers. This role involves remote instructor-led delivery via Microsoft Teams and mentoring learners as they develop a portfolio showcasing their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging technical training in Software Development via remote sessions
- Support learners in developing their technical and professional skills
- Work closely with Curriculum, IQA, and Service Delivery teams to enhance training methodologies
- Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback
- Keep course materials up to date with industry trends
Required Technical Skills:
What We're Looking For:
- Passionate about teaching & mentoring learners in Software Development
- Strong technical industry experience
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTS, or Level 3/4 Teaching Qualification) or willingness to obtain one within 6 months
- Level 3 Assessors qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Maths & English Level 2 (GCSE A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent)
- Degree or equivalent industry qualifications in Software Development
- Experience in delivering Software Development Apprenticeship programmes is required
