A leading commercial property business is seeking a Smart Buildings Consultant / Intelligent Buildings Analyst to be based in their Central London office. Reporting into the Building Consultancy Director, you will be focused on supporting the installation of their new building management system onto client sites and its post-installation management and reporting. The smart building system helps clients to optimise their energy consumption and you will be involved in project management, data analysis and reporting, account management and supervision of suppliers.
Key duties will include:
- Utilising your understanding of Build Management Systems (BMS) and facilities management to support the entire process, from preparing proposals to project managing the installations, reporting data to clients on performance and problem resolution.
- Build and maintain successful relationships with clients, third party suppliers, contractors and onsite teams.
- Collection, analysis and reporting of data to key stakeholders.
- Ongoing support for all properties post-installation.
- Oversight of technical issues, ensuring relevant teams resolve any problems in line with SLAs.
Candidate MUST have:
- Good knowledge of commercial buildings control systems, such as BMS, facilities management, HVAC, common mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proven project management and coordination experience.
- Good stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
- Ability to solve problems, coordinate third parties and handle multiple challenges at the same time.
- Good data management and reporting skills.
- This role involves travel to client sites across the UK, so you need to be willing to travel and hold a UK driver’s licence.
Desirable are:
- Experience installing or maintaining similar PropTech, intelligent building or Smart Building solutions.
- Passion for ESG and Sustainability is highly desirable.
The role offers hybrid working and additionally flexibility on your daily hours; this is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and progressive business. The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of between £40,000 - £60,000 based on your skills, plus a good bonus, car allowance, pension and good benefits.
