Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Trading Desk Operations Specialist to join our high-profile client. Our client is one of the largest Quant Investment managers globally, with around £20 billion under management. They are mainly quant-based but have high-frequency and systematic exposure. The role sits within the trading team on the cutting edge of technology and execution. This environment fosters science and intellectualism. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing support for OTC equity settlements with counterparties
  • Collaborating with traders to support execution workflows
  • Handling corporate actions and related entitlements
  • Supporting Futures & Options, Fixed Income, and Repo clearing
  • Ensuring accurate processing of trade lifecycle events internally and externally
  • Investigating and resolving trade and position breaks with clearing firms and prime brokers
  • Mastering the firm’s proprietary trade capture and inventory management systems
  • Acting as a process super-user for current systems, advising on enhancements to technology, workflows, and processes for the London operation

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in Trading Operations or Settlements
  • Exposure to other product lifecycles such as Fixed Income, Futures, and Options
  • Proficiency in VBA and ideally some Python
