Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Technical Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across their enterprise. You will play a critical role in shaping their ServiceNow strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving digital transformation initiatives. This role requires a strong background in ServiceNow technical implementations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience working with the ServiceNow platform, across a wide range of products (e.g. ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, IRM, SecOps)
- Experience in designing solutions to balance successful delivery of both recommended best practices and customer requirements, ensuring solutions are maintainable and scalable
- Experience preparing for and presenting to customers in demonstrations, workshops, show-and-tell sessions
- Experience managing challenging project situations
- Experience in managing Agile development teams and performing code reviews
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g. CIS, CAS, CTA or readiness to do this)
- Experience delivering technical training to developers, customers and non-technical resources
- Engage with customers at all stages from pre-sales to early life support
- Deliver the most complex elements of technical work in support of development teams
- Prepare and lead workshops related to your engagements with BA support
- Manage the technical aspects of delivery as part of a community of developers, including providing technical support to junior and fellow senior developers
- Produce design documents to propose solutions to customers and define the scope of activities to be carried out
- Hold regular stand-ups with delivery teams aligned to your work, completing code reviews and investigating blockers
- Attend and/or lead customer-facing meetings to support delivery, testing, handover and closure of project work
- Drive continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform, leveraging new features and capabilities
- Participate in roadmap planning and platform strategy with business and IT leadership
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members
- Participate in regular team meetings to review project progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project objectives
- Promote a positive and inclusive team culture that values diversity and collaboration
- Provide exceptional levels of verbal and written communication to clients and the ability to build rapport via teams and face to face
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field, or comparable work experience gained
- ServiceNow Certifications including Certified Implementation Specialist in multiple products (required)
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred but eligibility and openness to do this qualification in the future is acceptable
- ServiceNow Certified App Developer preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Technical Architecture within the ServiceNow environment
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects for ServiceNow solutions
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
