Our client is looking for a Senior Marketing Cloud Developer to join a high-impact digital team that is transforming how marketing technology drives results. This is an opportunity to own the development and delivery of cutting-edge customer journeys and data-led marketing strategies in an organisation making a real difference across multiple industries.
The Role
You will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development and implementation of advanced Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions. From customer journeys and dynamic content to automation strategy and platform integration, you will be the technical lead driving capability and innovation. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will also ensure alignment with business goals and contribute to improving the operational effectiveness of the wider marketing ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement complex marketing automation workflows using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, etc.)
- Manage segmentation strategies and maintain data integrity across marketing platforms
- Write custom code using AMPscript, SQL, HTML and CSS
- Deliver seamless integration with Salesforce CRM and third-party tools via APIs
- Guide and mentor stakeholders on best practice usage and campaign design
- Own platform documentation and champion continuous improvement across the team
What They’re Looking For:
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Strong technical knowledge of AMPscript, SQL, HTML/CSS, and API integrations
- Experience creating scalable, effective marketing journeys and automations
- Proven ability to translate user needs and business requirements into smart technical solutions
- Skilled in managing data within Marketing Cloud with an understanding of compliance and privacy
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach to solving problems and influencing direction
