The company has an extensive research and development department, as well as in-house testing facilities where new designs and customer-specific material mixtures are further developed. Headquarters are located in the US with additional locations in Germany and Austria.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for a defined customer base, acquiring new customers in the wind, metal, and oil & gas sectors throughout the UK.
- Independently develop medium and long-term customer strategies.
- Conduct active contract and price negotiations with customers.
- Part of customers' commercial and technical projects, also as project manager if required.
- Responsibility for active observation and the exchange of technical trends.
Requirements:
- Technical degree in mechanical engineering or plastics technology or a comparable qualification.
- Initial experience in the sale of complex technical products or alternatively have experience as a design engineer or application consultant in the technical field.
- Strong in implementation, customer-oriented, and a sense of urgency.
- Analyse and evaluate complex technical topics.
- An appropriate degree of persuasiveness, motivation, and assertiveness.
- Written and spoken English language skills, additional languages can be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel.
- Good and friendly interaction with colleagues.
- Independent, responsible, and reliable way of working.
