Social network you want to login/join with: We are hiring a Senior Process Engineer (Water and Wastewater) based in Midlands, UK Responsibilities: Working closely with the Design Manager to deliver Coffey design works across Ireland and the UK, for public and private sector clients. Assisting the Tendering Department by producing relevant, high quality tender submissions as required and requested by the Tendering Department and Senior Management. Submissions must be produced by the deadlines set by the Tender Co-Ordinator. Produce and develop process design deliverables for different tenders and project stages, from preliminary to detailed design for construction. Deliverables include process selection, design calculations, P&ID and PFD development, mass balance, system description, and control philosophy. Assist the commercial/estimating team in developing CAPEX and OPEX models. Develop/review Coffey tender/preliminary and detailed designs. Propose value engineering measures to enhance economic viability and robustness of tenders. Work with the Lead Process Engineer to visit municipal and private-sector sites to audit current water and wastewater treatment plants and processes, producing assessment reports with recommendations and preliminary CAPEX and OPEX costs. Produce Drinking Water Safety Plans (DWSP) for municipal and private clients, following WHO standards, covering health targets, system assessment, monitoring, reporting, and surveillance. Review and comment on proposed designs for water and wastewater treatment plants, participate in HAZOP studies and workshops. Manage time effectively to execute work within timelines and budgets. Provide technical process support to the O&M Department, including jar testing, site audits, inspections, and process improvement recommendations. Assist in testing and commissioning water and wastewater treatment plants. Support the Commercial Department regarding O&M commercial and contractual matters. Be flexible to work at project locations with regular travel to regional offices and sites. Mentor junior engineers, scientists, technicians, and design personnel. About You Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering. Minimum 8 years of experience in process design or equivalent. Proven track record in delivering technical designs across process, civil, mechanical, and electrical/ICA disciplines. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and 2D/3D CAD software. #J-18808-Ljbffr
