Senior Privacy Manager – Leading Financial Services Institution

A globally recognised bank is seeking a Senior Privacy Manager to lead their internal privacy function. This is a unique opportunity to join a powerhouse within banking.

Your Day to Day

1. Collaborate end-to-end with the Head of Privacy on various privacy matters, including breaches, DPIAs, incident management, controls/policies, and digital/technology transformation initiatives.
2. Assist in setting strategic goals and provide advisory support.
3. Demonstrate leadership by managing stakeholders across different business units and coordinating with team members nationwide.
4. Contribute to the development and growth of the privacy compliance team.

We are looking for:

• At least 5 years of experience in data protection, preferably within financial services institutions.
• Experience at a senior level (e.g., senior manager or above), especially in smaller organisations aiming to scale within a global conglomerate.
• Management experience, primarily in guiding junior team members and delegating tasks, not necessarily line management.
• Availability to work 2-3 days per week in the Glasgow office, in line with company policy.
• Salary circa £80,000 plus discretionary bonus, based on experience.
