The Role
As Senior Performance Analysis Manager , you’ll join the Performance Measurement team , taking the lead on performance reporting, analytical insights, forecasting, and target-setting. Your analysis will help inform strategic and operational decisions across the business—ensuring efficiency, compliance, and improved service delivery.
This is a high-impact role that combines technical expertise with stakeholder engagement, offering significant exposure to senior leadership and decision-makers. You\’ll play a key part in identifying performance improvement opportunities and developing insights that support long-term planning and investment decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the production and delivery of high-quality performance reports and dashboards
- Developing robust forecasting models and performance targets
- Conducting deep-dive analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by identifying underperformance and recommending corrective actions
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders across Operations, Strategy, Finance, and Executive Leadership
- Providing insight that shapes key business decisions and contributes to regulatory and public accountability
Your Skills and Experience
We are looking for a commercially minded, data-driven individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex insights to a broad audience.
- Proven experience in performance analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role
- Strong forecasting, data interpretation, and reporting skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to simplify complex data into clear insights for non-technical audiences
- Experience in transport, infrastructure, or public sector environments
- Familiarity with transport or railway operations and performance frameworks
- Proficiency in tools such as Power BI , Excel , and forecasting software
- Understanding of regulatory and policy frameworks in transport or public service delivery
