Job Description:

A multi-billion dollar AUM Hedge Fund is looking to hire a Senior Operations Analyst for its expanding London office.

The successful candidate will report directly to the European Head of Operations / Middle Office and serve as the SME for equities, taking ownership of operations and middle office tasks related to the firm’s expanding equities investment strategy. As many tasks are outsourced, a core focus will be on analytical oversight, managing external service providers, and project work, primarily related to infrastructure buildout or support for equities investment professionals. The role involves direct interaction with multiple prime brokers as the first point of contact for the European equities business.

The firm promotes a strong progression culture. The initial goal is for the hire to develop into an Operations Manager. Career progression pathways include moving into desk assistant, business management, treasury, or change management roles within the global operations team. Exceptional performers may also have opportunities to transfer internally to international offices in the future.

Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in hedge fund operations, with a strong background in equities, excellent academic credentials, and robust technical skills.

The role offers a salary range of £80,000 to £110,000, with top performers earning substantial bonuses.
