Planet Pharma is currently working with a global biotechnology company seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join as a contractor for 12 months. This role involves supporting an exciting product launch in the neuro and women's health therapeutic areas. The successful candidate will serve as the company's representative in the field, providing medical and scientific support related to neurology and women's health. The role also includes project and office-based medical affairs responsibilities such as contributing to medical strategies, participating in health technology appraisals, managing special access arrangements, and supporting real-world evidence and registries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain territory and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement plans aligned with strategic medical objectives and develop relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Act as the therapeutic area medical lead, developing solutions and co-creating materials for field activities.
  • Provide medical input into strategic brand and portfolio planning, as well as KOL engagement strategies.
  • Initiate, implement, and monitor scientific projects aligned with medical strategies.

This position covers the North of England, and the ideal candidate will be based in the region (Manchester, Leeds, York, etc.).

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working across different therapeutic areas, preferably in neurology, mental health disorders, or women's health.
  • Strong knowledge of the NHS, ABPI Code of Practice, and extensive MSL experience.
