As a Senior Medical Writer, you’ll contribute to a variety of projects across therapy areas, translating complex science into clear, engaging content. With a solid scientific foundation and strong writing skills, you’ll produce client-ready materials, support scientific communications, and begin to take ownership of client interactions. You’re proactive, organized, and eager to grow—comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with internal teams and clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Medical Writing
  • Develop clear, scientifically accurate content across formats—slide decks, video scripts, web copy, publications, summaries, and more.
  • Ensure materials meet client objectives, are appropriately referenced, and align with target audiences.
  • Present content updates to clients and liaise with subject matter experts to gain approvals.
  • Confidently attend onsite meetings and contribute to deliverables such as advisory boards.
  • Participate in internal data checking and provide basic content reviews for peers.
  • Scientific Engagement
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant therapy areas and products.
    • Conduct thorough literature research and integrate findings into deliverables.
    • Share key scientific developments with teams and clients.
  • Project Support
    • Join client meetings, contribute to project planning, and communicate updates clearly.
    • Help identify potential issues and escalate concerns when needed.
    • Follow SOPs, manage time effectively, and prioritise across accounts.
    • Work within allocated hours and ensure accurate, timely time tracking.

    Qualifications:

    • Life Science Degree.
    • 2–3 years of medical writing experience in a medical communications setting.
    • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
    • Comfortable interacting with clients and healthcare professionals.
    • Familiarity with industry platforms (e.g., Veeva, DataVision) and regulatory codes (e.g., ABPI).
