Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable, resilient, and secure integrations for our API management platform in AWS
- Design and implement API gateways, authentication mechanisms, and monitoring solutions
- Develop automation pipelines for API deployments and infrastructure management
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define best practices and governance for API lifecycle management
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards, implementing robust data protection measures
- Optimize API performance and scalability using AWS-native solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring high availability and reliability
Requirements
What Weβre Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in integration engineering, cloud architecture, or API development
- Deep expertise in AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, Step Functions, EventBridge, DynamoDB, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in RESTful APIs, OAuth, OpenID, GraphQL, and API authentication mechanisms
- Solid knowledge of microservices architecture, DevOps, and CI/CD practices
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Bonus Skills
- Knowledge of serverless technologies and event-driven architectures
- Experience in API security (rate limiting, throttling, encryption, access control policies)
- Familiarity with APIM tools like Kong, Apigee, or AWS API Gateway
