  • Develop and maintain the TGR-E in-house lap-time calculation and performance optimization algorithms.
  • Collaborate with other TGR-E members to integrate provided mathematical and physical models and support their code optimization.
  • Maintain composure during demanding situations, exhibiting a “cool-head” approach to problem-solving.
  • Approach challenges with a proactive mindset, proposing innovative solutions and driving development.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in driving simulation technology and contribute to research projects.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in performance vehicle dynamics simulation.
  • Strong proficiency in mathematical and physical modelling of vehicle dynamics systems as well as optimization methods.
  • Strong experience in the development of quasi-static and dynamic lap-time calculation and performance optimization methods.
  • Proficient knowledge in more than one programming language – e.g. C++, C, MATLAB/Simulink, Python.
  • Previous experience working with code generated from Simulink.
  • Previous experience with numerical integration methods to solve dynamical models.
  • A clean code mindset and strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience working across multiple operating systems (e.g. Linux).
