We are supporting a dynamic and fast-growing commodity intelligence firm as they expand their low-carbon coverage across Europe. As part of this expansion, they are seeking to appoint a Senior Editor to lead editorial and pricing coverage of the ammonia market , with a particular focus on the UK\’s growing role in the hydrogen and clean fuels economy.

The Role:

As Senior Editor – Ammonia , you will be responsible for developing authoritative pricing benchmarks, market insights, and editorial coverage of both conventional and low-carbon ammonia markets—including blue and green ammonia.

You will serve as the go-to market voice for the firm’s ammonia desk, interacting with key industry players across production, trading, shipping, and energy transition policy. Your content will directly inform the commercial strategies of energy companies, project developers, financial stakeholders, and policymakers across the UK and wider Europe.

You will work in close coordination with the company’s global editorial and analytics teams and contribute to broader hydrogen and clean fuels coverage where relevant.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in commodity price reporting, market journalism, or analytical coverage—preferably in ammonia, fertilisers, hydrogen, or related energy markets
  • Deep understanding of the ammonia value chain, including its growing integration with hydrogen, shipping fuels, and decarbonisation strategies
  • Strong writing skills and ability to produce accurate, insightful and timely market content
  • Network of industry contacts across Europe, particularly within the UK market
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, comfortable working in a high-growth, agile environment
