My client is a software provider in the business management space, offering solutions for various business functions to help small and medium-sized businesses streamline operations and stay compliant. They are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to work closely with both development and operations teams, focusing on deploying, monitoring, and improving infrastructure through automation and modern cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of assigned services, ensuring availability, performance, and security.
- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions with a focus on automation.
- Promote DevOps best practices, including CI/CD processes.
- Lead resolution of service incidents, including root cause analysis and stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate across teams to meet security, performance, and operational standards.
- Create and manage infrastructure as code and automated deployment pipelines.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota for business-critical services.
- Identify and implement improvements to operational processes and tooling.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in DevOps, SRE, Systems Administration, or similar roles (ideally 5+ years).
- Proven hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with Kubernetes experience preferred.
- Experience with applications deployed in AWS or Azure using distributed computing, containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technologies.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring tools.
- Associate or Professional-level cloud certifications.
- Experience with serverless technologies and containerized workloads.
- Exposure to software development, QA, or broader IT operations functions.

- Must be a British citizen or hold ILR.
