Job Description:

Maverick Associates are recruiting for a Senior Data Processor for our client based in Livingstone. MUST BE UK BASED.

Senior Data Processor Offshore Responsibilities

The Senior Data Processor is responsible for the onboard processing and management of all relevant acquired data, including hydrographic and bathymetric data, as well as the production of related charts.

HSE Responsibilities

• Participate actively in the Company’s Quality and HSE Systems and Procedures.
• Understand and comply with PPE requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Be prepared to stop work if safety is compromised.

Role Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect raw data quality upon receipt and notify if unsuitable.
• Review and adapt data processing workflows as needed, recording changes for verification.
• Process data sets using the company\’s software.
• Maintain logs and report progress regularly.
• Mentor junior processors and assist as needed.
• QC datasets at each processing stage to ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate with the Party Chief on deliverables and workflow.
• Back up processed data regularly, following company policy.
• Create or amend charts as required, including templates.
• Follow company standards to maintain quality systems.
• Conduct performance reviews for team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Reporting Lines

• 1st line – Party Chief / Senior Surveyor
• 2nd line – Project Manager
