Our client is an innovative and developing Swiss-headquartered commercial-stage pharmaceutical company. They are seeking a Legal and Compliance Counsel to lead for the UK, Nordics, and Canada, based in London. Reporting to their Head of Legal for EUCAN, and working closely with small country management teams, the role will be responsible for all legal and compliance issues for the region. This includes overseeing commercial contracting, collaborations, market access, ABPI matters including compliance training and monitoring, as well as digital and data privacy concerns.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced life sciences lawyer with at least 5-10 years of experience from private practice and ideally a similar in-house role within a pharmaceutical or biotech organization (medical technology experience may also be considered). Experience in both commercial legal matters and healthcare compliance programs is required. The candidate should be a commercially minded, proactive team player who can operate effectively at all levels in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced organization. The role is based in London and will operate a hybrid working model.
