The Business Intelligence team manages the entire reporting and analytics lifecycle, providing support across finance, treasury, risk, and strategic planning, while managing enterprise BI tools and platforms. The team leverages analytics to support informed decision-making, operational efficiency, and long-term business value. Key Responsibilities Champion analytics and BI initiatives across departments to promote data-driven decision-making. Serve as a subject matter expert for data platforms and reporting tools, guiding stakeholders. Maintain and optimise reporting outputs, identifying enhancements and automation opportunities. Conduct ad-hoc analyses for dynamic business needs. Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from large databases. Support transformation initiatives by providing insights and reporting capabilities. Lead delivery of advanced analytics and AI-driven projects aligned with business strategy. Analyze performance data to uncover trends and strategic opportunities. Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy. Advise on developing KPIs to support business goals. Stakeholder Relationships Internal: BI and Data Analytics teams, Business line and operations users, IT, Change, and Transformation teams External: Technology vendors, Data providers including credit and financial information sources Qualifications and Skills Degree in a quantitative, scientific, or finance-related field. Extensive experience in BI, analytics, or MI roles. Strong SQL skills with experience querying large databases. Expertise in Tableau, with ability to build dashboards and reports. Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and modelling. Experience applying analytics for business impact. Background in financial services or a regulated environment. Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly. Good time management and multi-tasking abilities. Familiarity with agile methodologies and Jira. Experience with Power BI. Understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts. Experience evaluating external data sources for quality and value. Key Attributes Motivated, proactive, and independent worker.
