Job Description:

Blue Legal is partnering with a leading international law firm recruiting a Business Development and Marketing Manager to lead their Financial Regulation Group and Risk Advisory in London. The role involves developing and implementing BD plans, marketing strategies, client targeting, and profile raising initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Financial Regulation and Risk within a professional services environment.

The Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute BD plans aligned with strategic goals.
• Manage BD infrastructure including events, credentials, client lists, and marketing materials.
• Build internal networks and collaborate across practice groups.
• Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.
• Improve processes for quality and consistency, especially in pitch development.
• Enhance external profile through campaigns, thought leadership, PR, and digital media.
• Manage key client relationships and support targeted BD initiatives.
• Oversee legal directory submissions and internal communications.

The Candidate:

• Experience in business development within client-facing roles, preferably in legal or professional services with a finance focus.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders and manage client relationships.
• Proven success in producing high-quality RFPs and pitches, with strong organizational skills.
• Proactive, resilient, collaborative, and capable of mentoring others.
