Job Overview

We’re seeking an experienced professional to lead key projects centered around Azure cloud solutions. This role involves advancing cloud strategies, developing innovative solutions, and evolving infrastructure to align with business growth.

The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, quickly grasps new systems, and translates business needs into effective technical solutions. A passion for tackling complex challenges and creating modern, cloud-optimized setups is a plus.

Our client recently migrated their data centers to Azure and is now looking to enhance this environment. You will be instrumental in this next phase, focusing on transformation and optimization. We value detail-oriented, proactive individuals who are technically skilled and enthusiastic about automation and efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and seek continuous improvement
• Manage and maintain existing cloud infrastructure
• Install and configure new systems as needed
• Maintain accurate and useful documentation
• Monitor performance and proactively resolve issues
• Manage patches, updates, and security protocols
• Serve as an escalation point for complex issues
• Design and implement cloud solutions aligned with business requirements
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and partners
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Lead during critical incidents
• Support cloud-native development initiatives and tools
• Demonstrate ownership and a proactive attitude

Who We’re Looking For

• Degree in engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum of 5 years in cloud infrastructure roles
• Experience with cloud migrations, including lift-and-shift and refactoring
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure components: VDI, networking, security, DevSecOps
• Cost-conscious approach to cloud service scaling and building
• Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
• Quick learner with strong research skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with leadership
• Familiarity with ITIL practices
• Excellent project management skills
• Effective communicator, both written and verbal
• Organized, detail-oriented, and resilient under pressure
• Flexible with working hours, including occasional after-hours work
• Experience in finance or private equity is advantageous
• Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones is a plus
