Dar is seeking a senior specialist with experience in simulating aircraft ground movements within airport environments. The role focuses on developing aircraft micro-simulation models to support airside planning, improve operational efficiency, and assess layout and procedural changes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop micro-simulation models for aircraft taxiing, pushback, towing, and stand operations
- Analyse ground movement flows, delays, stand occupancy, and runway usage
- Assess layout efficiency, conflict points, and turnaround operations
- Interpret and analyse flight schedules to model realistic aircraft movements
- Coordinate with airside planners, layout designers, and operational teams
- Deliver technical outputs, visualizations, and scenario assessments
- Minimum 10 years of experience in transport or airport simulation with a focus on aircraft ground movements
- Proficient in tools such as AirTop, CAST, or similar aircraft simulation software
- Strong understanding of aircraft operations, stand allocation, and apron procedures
