They are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Menswear Account Manager to join their sales team. Working closely and managing sales teams, developing sales and products in partnership with a talented in-house design team, the role involves overseeing a portfolio of key accounts, driving strategic client relationships, and maximising sales through exceptional account management and leadership. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, serving as the main point of contact. Understand their business requirements to maximise sales opportunities and drive customer satisfaction. Market Awareness: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of market trends within the footwear and fashion industries. Provide insights to enhance product offerings and capitalise on market opportunities. Team Collaboration: Foster teamwork and collaboration, contribute actively in meetings and brainstorming sessions, and oversee technical processes related to product fitting and sealing, ensuring quality standards throughout the production cycle. Product Development: Collaborate with the design team to create innovative and commercially viable footwear ranges that meet market trends and customer demands. Ensure continuous development and timely launch of new products. Critical Path Management: Oversee and monitor the critical path for product delivery to meet timelines. Track shipping schedules, production factors, and inventory flow, ensuring accurate stock deliveries. Communication and Coordination: Facilitate effective communication between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, including design and production. Keep all stakeholders updated on project status. Lead Negotiations: Negotiate on pricing, contracts, and terms, ensuring competitiveness and company objectives. Drive cross-selling and upselling initiatives. Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior account managers and team members, fostering professional development and a collaborative environment. Ensure all account management processes are executed efficiently and comply with internal and external controls. Key Requirements: Understanding of the supply side. Oversee and coordinate all project-related activities for client accounts, ensuring timely and quality delivery of products and services. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all account activities, ensuring compliance and transparency. Assist in developing innovative design briefs and solutions aligned with client expectations and industry standards. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel); familiarity with design software is a plus. Proven experience managing multiple projects and tasks concurrently, with a focus on deadlines and results. Experience working with multiple overseas suppliers. Collaborative work with designers and merchandisers. Excellent negotiation skills in category management and vendor relations, with successful outcomes. Ability to analyse market data and sales performance metrics to inform strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective engagement at all levels. Collaborative mindset and ability to work within diverse teams. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing change effectively. #J-18808-Ljbffr
