Join a New Security Team – London
If you\’re a former member of the Armed Forces looking to bring your skills into a civilian career where purpose, structure, and teamwork matter—this is your next mission. We are assisting our high-profile client in helping them to build an agile and professional in-house security team tasked with safeguarding people, property, reputation, and operations.
This is not your typical security job. This is a long-term, career-building opportunity in a dynamic environment where your military training, adaptability, and situational awareness are highly valued.
Why Ex-Forces?
We value the discipline and problem-solving mindset that ex-service personnel bring. Whether you served in logistics, infantry, intelligence, or engineering—your operational experience makes you a perfect fit for this role.
Your Role
- Provide covert/overt security to key sites in London to provide a visible, professional security presence.
- Utilise advanced security technology and your own sound judgement to detect and respond to risks.
- Respond to incidents calmly and effectively, using protocols and dynamic decision-making.
- Safeguard people and assets while maintaining a focus on confidentiality and client reputation.
- Support team operations during periods of high demand or staff absence—your flexibility matters.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, observations, and security activity.
- Adapt to a variety of security scenarios, drawing on your training and operational experience.
Ideal Background
- Military, law enforcement, or protective security background.
- Experience with access control, surveillance, patrols, or emergency response.
- Situational awareness and the ability to assess threats under pressure.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a tight-knit team.
- SIA Licence preferred (The client can assist with licensing for the right candidate).
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Able to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
What You’ll Bring
- Mission-focused mindset and a calm, controlled approach to pressure.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
- A proactive attitude and ability to make decisions on the ground.
- Confidence to engage with people from all walks of life, including VIPs and stakeholders.
Ready to serve in a new capacity?
This role offers more than just a job—it’s a chance to continue protecting others while building a civilian career with purpose.
