This role involves both Engineering and Analysis responsibilities, including monitoring and responding to incidents, developing detection rules, and enhancing monitoring infrastructure and tooling. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SecOps specialist with both SecOps Analysis and Engineering experience to join a growing firm at a crucial stage of building out their Cyber Security capabilities. You will work alongside the SOC Manager to shape their SOC monitoring, detection, and response functions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and escalate complex incident investigations. Develop and engineer detection rules, automating repetitive tasks. Research emerging threats to develop preventive rules. Mentor and train junior team members during incident responses. Key Requirements: At least 4 years of experience in a SOC environment managing high-profile incidents. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Security tools such as Defender, Sentinel, KQL. Experience with hybrid-cloud SOC environments, preferably Azure and AWS. Ability to demonstrate specific projects related to SecOps Engineering and Automation.
