We are working with a growing tech consultancy that are looking for a driven and passionate individual to join them as a Security Operations Consultant, working with their clients to assess and support security operations maturity and development. Background in client facing work isnβt necessary but excellent communication and a drive to support people is needed! Responsibilities of a Security Operations Consultant:
- Support in the growth of SOC capabilities for clients
- Implement and manage security tools within the SOC environment, considering immediate requirements and long term strategic plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate threat intelligence feeds, playbooks, and response workflows into SOC operations.
- Conduct SOC readiness assessments, identifying gaps and proposing next steps
Requirements of a Security Operations Consultant:
- Must have active SC clearance
- 3+ years experience within Cyber Security Operations related roles
- Solid understanding of SOC best practices and relevant regulations
- Experience deploying, configuring, and managing security tools within SOC environments (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, etc.).
