About the Roles

We’re working with a major manufacturing client to secure SAP Functional Consultants across Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and Finance & Controlling (FICO). These are interface roles acting as the critical link between internal business teams and the external Systems Integrator. Rather than deep technical configuration, the focus is on business engagement, requirement gathering, issue triage, and translating business needs into SAP deliverables. You’ll help ensure the SI is aligned with internal priorities, and that SAP processes meet the operational needs of the business.

Available Functional Areas

  • SAP PP (Production Planning)
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing and production planning processes
    • Ability to liaise between operations teams and SI on PP-related issues (e.g., routings, BOMs, shop floor processes)
    • Familiarity with integration into MM and QM
    • Business-facing experience in procurement and supply chain operations
    • Able to articulate business requirements and validate SAP solutions delivered by the SI
    • Understanding of supplier management, purchasing, and inventory
  • SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling)
    • Strong grasp of core finance processes: AP/AR, GL, cost centre reporting, etc.
    • Comfortable working with finance stakeholders to represent their needs to the SI
    • Knowledge of MM and SD integration points beneficial

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in business-facing SAP roles (functional/BA hybrid)
  • Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to interpret and validate SI outputs against business needs
  • Ideally Belfast-based or happy to travel on occasion (approx. every 2 months)
