The successful candidate will work in a close-knit team and be embedded in the business as a subject matter expert. Responsibilities include advising on sanctions-related risks, providing recommendations on customers and transactions from a sanctions perspective, supporting Compliance and other relevant business lines through guidance and training, and drafting sanctions regulatory reports. This role is ideal for a contentious or non-contentious lawyer seeking a business-facing role with a high level of responsibility and support. Skills required: Qualified lawyer with 3+ years PQE gained in-house or in private practice. Experience advising on regulatory matters related to financial crime or sanctions. UK experience is essential. Experience working with senior stakeholders across an organization is advantageous.
