The successful candidate will work in a close-knit team and be embedded in the business as a subject matter expert. The role involves advising on sanctions-related risks, providing recommendations on customers and transactions from a sanctions perspective, supporting Compliance and other relevant business lines through guidance and training, and drafting sanctions regulatory reports. This position is ideal for a contentious or non-contentious lawyer seeking to move into a business-facing role with a high level of responsibility and support. Skills required: Qualified lawyer with 3+ years PQE gained in-house or in private practice. Experience advising on regulatory matters related to financial crime or sanctions. UK experience is essential. Experience working with senior stakeholders across an organization would be advantageous.
