We’re partnering with a London-based recruitment consultancy with around 40 staff, operating predominantly in the contract market, with a growing permanent division. Known for deep market expertise and longstanding client relationships, they’re looking for a Sales Director to drive revenue, develop strategy, and mentor a seasoned team.
The Role
As Sales Director, you’ll lead from the front – refining the sales strategy, managing performance, opening new enterprise accounts, and working closely with the senior leadership team to ensure sustainable and scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the contract and permanent sales teams across tech and insurance verticals
- Drive business development and key client relationships
- Set and track revenue targets, sales KPIs, and performance metrics
- Work closely with the Delivery, Operations, and Talent functions to align business goals
- Develop and implement strategies to expand market share
- Coach and mentor a team of experienced recruiters and managers
About You
We’re looking for someone who’s commercially driven, strategic, and hands-on when it counts. You’ll bring:
- Proven track record of leadership in recruitment (contract focus ideal)
- Strong understanding of technology and/or insurance sectors
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
- A growth mindset and the ability to spot and seize commercial opportunities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
