We are working with a leading full-service law firm to hire a Risk Administrator to join their collaborative and well-regarded team in London. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting the risk and compliance function, ensuring operational efficiency across a broad range of tasks. The firm is looking for someone with prior experience in a legal support role - perhaps as a paralegal or legal assistant, or someone keen to develop a long-term career in risk and compliance.
The responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and cross-checking client names against sanctions and watchlists to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations
- Conducting conflicts checks to support new client onboarding and matter opening processes
- Maintaining and updating the firm’s central risk register with accuracy and discretion
- Supporting the delivery of ad hoc compliance projects and operational initiatives
- Carrying out ongoing monitoring of high-risk clients and matters
- Performing adverse media checks to flag any reputational or compliance risks
- Managing the team’s central inbox, ensuring timely responses and efficient workflow coordination
