Job Description:
We are currently looking to recruit a very experienced professional to lead on the internal and external recruitment processes across the council, ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and line managers. This role is temporary, with an expected duration of at least 6 months. You will oversee the recruitment workflow and onboarding process for the local authority, lead redeployment initiatives as part of the transformation process, and ensure all redeployment activities align with Hillingdon’s procedures. You will ensure recruitment is conducted efficiently and professionally, providing expertise on recruitment strategies, advertising options, and ATS systems.
About You
We seek a proactive, resourceful individual who can:
- Manage the team to process recruitment requests, ensuring well-crafted adverts and responsible administration.
- Utilize ATS effectively, providing coaching to hiring managers as needed.
- Oversee the creation of compelling job advertisements for internal and external placement.
- Ensure adherence to the recruitment process by hiring managers, managing stakeholder queries and process resolutions.
- Assess vacancies for redeployment suitability, liaising with HR partners and coordinating redeployment activities.
- Support hiring managers during interviews and feedback, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Deliver recruitment services according to agreed SLAs.
- Oversee onboarding and liaise with HR Operations to ensure pre-employment checks and onboarding are completed.
- Run ATS reports as required.
- Take a proactive approach to sourcing for key roles as directed.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues on specific recruitment campaigns.
Experience in a similar role within a Local Authority or the Public Sector is a plus.
