Job Description

Our client, a prominent international academic publisher, is seeking a Research Integrity Assistant to collaborate with their Publishing Ethics & Integrity team across various STM journals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the team to conduct research integrity investigations.
2. Verify articles for authorship integrity, content accuracy, data validity, and ethical statements.
3. Assist the ethics team in contacting authors and evaluating submitted files.
4. Identify experts to advise on specific articles when necessary.
5. Coordinate with the ethics and editorial teams on post-publication notices.
6. Handle confidential information with sensitivity, considering legal and ethical implications.

Qualifications:

1. Research background in a relevant discipline.
2. Editorial experience assessing scientific manuscripts for quality and integrity.
3. Understanding of research methods and practices.
4. Knowledge of global research and publishing ethics issues.
5. Familiarity with journal editorial standards.
6. Project management experience.
7. Strong numerical and verbal reasoning skills.
