Ford Banister IP is a full-service American intellectual property and ecommerce firm with a focus on U.S. trademark and copyright filings, brand protection, including litigation and arbitration. The firm operates fully remotely, serving a primarily international clientele.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Remote IP and Ecommerce Attorney with a U.K. License. The barrister/solicitor will support U.S.-based attorneys in preparing and filing trademark and copyright applications, responding to office actions from the USPTO and Copyright Office, handling litigation before the TTAB and federal district courts, and arbitrations with ecommerce platforms. They will also manage U.K.-based matters. All staff attorneys participate in the firm\’s marketing and business development efforts.

The barrister/solicitor should be prepared to work alongside the firm\’s principal attorney in Athens, Greece for the first several months. After training, remote work is possible.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and research skills
• Ability to work independently and on-site initially
• Experience in ecommerce law is a plus
• Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in Law or related field
• Great attitude
• Pleasant disposition and good cultural fit
• Desire for long-term cooperation
• Suitable for entry-level attorneys
