Job Description:

Are you a skilled Reliability Technician with a passion for precision, data-driven maintenance, and continuous improvement? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading industrial service provider who is looking to expand their team with a dedicated professional to support and enhance reliability on a key client site.

Job Title: Reliability Lead

Location: Hull

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:30 (1-hour lunch break)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking team focused on delivering high standards in equipment reliability and performance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out Vibration Analysis routes and interpreting data
  • Completing root cause analysis following equipment failures
  • Identifying and implementing reliability improvements to reduce downtime and increase Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF)
  • Collaborating closely with on-site teams to implement effective, measurable reliability initiatives
  • Executing tasks efficiently, with minimal disruption to operations
  • Proactively suggesting improvements in manufacturing processes and equipment reliability
  • Supporting shutdown activities and day-to-day reliability operations
  • Maintaining excellent standards of safety and compliance at all times
  • Communicating effectively around change and supporting implementation

About You:

We’re looking for a motivated and technically proficient individual with:

  • CAT 1 Vibration Analysis training
  • Proficiency in Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) tools
  • Practical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and modern maintenance techniques
  • NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds Part 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
  • Broad knowledge of engineering fundamentals
  • Intermediate Food Hygiene & IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
