Reinstatement Operative Team

Job Description:

As a member of the Reinstatement Team, you will work on various tasks across our contracts. Previous experience with tarmac, Modular & Rigid surfaces work is essential. We seek individuals who take pride in their work and aim for first-time right quality.

Your tasks will involve working on public highways, building sites, and private residential land, all conducted safely and responsibly. You will strive to meet client needs in a cost-effective manner, providing technical expertise and working within a team to deliver excellent service.

You will engineer solutions on-site and focus your team on completing work correctly the first time. Collaboration with the scheduling team is crucial to ensure programs are managed and delivered properly. You will support the effective completion of work through communication with internal and external stakeholders and the management of business and client database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Have previous experience in Utility Reinstatement.
• Understand site safety and setup, prioritizing the welfare of the public and team members.
• Use Modular+ (smartphone system) & client computer systems for feedback and reporting.
• Coordinate with Support Services and Street Works Teams to manage liabilities and ensure a right-first-time approach, complying with regulations including NRSWA.
• Maintain a customer-focused attitude.
• Practice good timekeeping and maintain tools and equipment properly.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

• Experience in the Utility industry.
• NRASWA qualification.
• Full and clean driving license; HGV C1 entitlement is desirable.
• Awareness of health and safety standards.
• Computer literacy with basic software proficiency.
• This is a physically demanding role involving outdoor work in all weather conditions.
