The role is within the Liquidity and IRRBB Transformations team, responsible for steering the delivery of Investment Governance projects involving liquidity reporting improvements. The team collaborates with Change, Data, and Technology teams to enhance liquidity reporting quality in a controlled and cost-effective manner.

The team is a subject matter expert in PRA regulations and risk reporting, playing a key role in transforming the bank\’s liquidity systems and processes as part of a strategic change.

The role reports to the Head of Liquidity Projects and is part of the Finance operations function, aligned with Treasury.

The role holder is responsible for driving change and transformation across liquidity reporting processes owned by the function.

This position involves gathering business requirements and leading process improvement initiatives.

Extensive collaboration with peers, especially Global process managers for Liquidity, IRRBB, FTP, and Capital reporting, is required. The role involves significant interaction with Change and Technology teams.

The position is based in London within the Liquidity and IRRBB Transformations team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive change and transformation across liquidity reporting processes and deliver solutions with thorough validation to meet regulatory standards.
  • Understand and interpret regulatory reporting requirements (PRA, EBA, Basel).
  • Gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Lead process improvement and optimization efforts.
  • Develop effective data management frameworks and conduct data analysis.
  • Manage stakeholders across Liquidity, Project, and Change teams.
  • Collaborate with Change teams to optimize change delivery, including review of testing strategies and UAT/UVT approaches.
  • Participate in team development and training.
  • Monitor quality standards and plan for future reporting activities through regular management meetings with Technology and Change teams.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Technology.
  • 10+ years of experience in Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Treasury, Market Risk, or related areas.
  • Experience in major international or UK banks.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in IT and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to lead change and drive progress.
  • Experience working with virtual, global teams.
  • Solution development and implementation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder interaction capabilities across various seniority levels.
  • Liquidity reporting and banking change management experience.
  • Good understanding of liquidity regulations (Basel, PRA).
  • Ability to self-review, identify issues, and escalate appropriately.
  • Technical skills such as VBA, Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau.
