About the Client: Our prestigious client in the aviation/aerospace sector is seeking a Quality Management Specialist to support its Military Continuing Airworthiness Management Support Capability, including a CAMO approved by the UK Military Aviation Authority (MAA). This role is crucial for ensuring compliance and quality assurance within the CAMO through a robust quality management system, directly supporting the Airworthiness Manager Military Flying.
About the Role: The post-holder will oversee the compliance and effectiveness of all CAMO functions in accordance with RA 4900–4974 (MRP Part M). Responsibilities include:
- Auditing core and non-core CAMO processes
- Ensuring staff competence
- Verifying adherence to the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME)
- Monitoring subcontracted maintenance tasks
- Validating procedural changes
- Sampling outputs
- Liaising with maintenance organizations and delivery teams
- Ensuring annual compliance checks are completed
- Managing Waivers, Exemptions, and Alternative Acceptable Means of Compliance (AWE)
- Supporting Corrective Action meetings to resolve non-conformances and track remedial progress
Desirable experience includes knowledge or training in:
- Internal auditing for aircraft programmes
- Human Factors awareness
- AS9100D / AS9110C auditing
- MRP Part 145 (MAOS) regulations
- Baines Simmons CAMO regulatory training
- Information lifecycle and SharePoint management
- Root cause and corrective action facilitation
