We’re looking for a driven individual to work as a Product Manager within the Current Account Team. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for someone who wants to build a career in Product Management. For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our London, Swindon or Northampton office. The role will also require travel to Swindon at least once a month.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll be responsible for key Current Account products across their Product Lifecycle, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers, commercial ambitions and operate within our risk and control environment.
  • Product ownership: Own at least one of our Current Account products, ensuring they meet our customer’s needs, deliver great outcomes and are commercially sustainable.
  • Product Development and strategy: Lead the development and enhancement of current account propositions, ensuring they meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Customer focus: Maintain a strong focus on delivering good customer outcomes, through robust risk and performance management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and IT, to ensure successful product launches and to deliver change and put things right when things go wrong.
  • Proposal writing: Develop quality written proposals that facilitate formal decision making and broaden the understanding of key issues.

About you:

Playing such an important role within the team means as a minimum you’ll have or be:

  • Experienced in managing financial services products, including completing product governance, risk management and audit processes.
  • Experienced in applying Consumer Duty principles in product design and management.
  • Can demonstrate awareness of relevant regulatory and compliance considerations.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills – including experience using data to identify issues and inform recommendations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • You will have experience in creating documents of a high standard, suitable for senior audiences and even regulators, so attention to detail and ability to present information in a factual and balanced way is key.
  • Understands not only the customer but impacts on commercials, risk and operations and can demonstrate this.
