An employer is seeking a PLM Consultant for a long term contract opportunity to sit remote in the UK. This Consultant will be joining a leader in the MedTech industry to provide UAT support in the area of Product Configuration Management (PCM) by authoring UAT test cases to verify the functionality in Windchill and to support creation of PCM training materials/procedures.
Working with Windchill is a requirement as are the following functionalities:
- PDMLink for parts, eBOM, mBOM, plan, design review, reporting and product structure
- MPMLink for resources, process plan, enterprise data and extended data
Other functionalities needed include change management for PCM capabilities: change request, change notice, change tasks.
This consultant will be required to follow three phases for the project:
- UAT
- Support creation of training material
- Supporting the Afile e6 PLM to Windchill PCM capabilities
The duration of this project will be for an 8 month-24 month period.
Qualifications:
- Authoring UAT test cases to verify the functionality of Windchill
- PTC Windchill experience: working in PDMLink and MPMLink functionalities
- Microsoft Excel: Intermediate to Advanced skills
- Atlassian Jira: knowledge in Jira & Xray is an advantage
- Language requirements: English (written and oral) + German is a plus
