Product Designer | 2 days a week in a Central Bristol office | Salary Range: £50-70k
Would you like to spend your day-job helping the UK become net-zero? These opportunities don’t come around too often - I’m working with a start-up who are supporting the UK with its goal of becoming Net Zero by 2050! The work you’ll do will genuinely help save the planet!
They’re currently a team of ten and want to add a Designer to their amazing team of people in Bristol (the calibre in the team is exceptional!). After launching in early 2024, they’ve already built an impressive customer base & significant revenue generation. Their next step is to develop their suite of products further as they look to cover new areas within the renewable energy sector.
You’ll be designing intuitive products across the full product lifecycle; from discovery through to delivery. You’ll also engage with customers, with a view to truly understanding what makes products genuinely exceptional to them.
Ideally you’ll have experience of working on complex products that are deployed across multiple platforms and the ability to understand complex technical elements, translating them into clear & easy-to-understand products for the users.
What you’ll need:
- A background in designing intuitive software products across multiple platforms & digital touch points
- Experience of leading the UX/UI design process from end-to-end throughout the entire design lifecycle
- Good expertise in Figma (developing components, systems and prototypes)
- Comfortable working closely with customers to understand user requirements
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment that can be ever-changing
- Ideally you will have worked on complex technical products
- Highly collaborative and enthusiastic about working on a hybrid-working basis alongside amazing colleagues a couple of days a week in Bristol!
- The desire to work alongside other exceptional people & solve intellectually challenging engineering problems
- A passion for environmentally-focussed products or developing clever solutions for society-wide issues
