Role Overview: The consultancy is seeking multiple experienced Procurement & Commercial Specialists/Managers to join their expanding Defence team. In this role, you will provide expert procurement strategy, advice, and guidance to both public and private sector Defence clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing procurement strategies aligned with project objectives and client policies.
  • Managing end-to-end procurement processes, including tender preparation, negotiation, and contract award.
  • Ensuring compliance with Public Sector and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to drive innovation and enhance supplier performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement within Defence, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Ideally a strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 and/or JCT contract frameworks.
  • Familiarity with UK Government procurement processes, such as QDC, DSPCR, and PCR.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
